Jam.py and Uppcoder: try it, build it with AI, keep it running
Jam.py is an open-source, low-code framework for building database applications with a web interface. Its developers can design tables, forms and reports in the browser and write Python where they need it. From today, the Jam.py team and Uppcoder are technology partners.
For anyone curious about Jam.py, the first step is now a click. The Jam.py try page opens a running demo app or an empty project in the browser, in a sandbox of its own, with no account and nothing to install.
On the same page, our AI builder can make the first app for you. Describe what it should do, and it creates the tables, lookups, forms and sample data through Jam.py’s own builder. What comes out is an ordinary Jam.py project, ready to open in the Jam.py Application Builder.
Apps worth keeping move onto Uppcoder Cloud, with their own address, files, logs, Git and an optional VS Code, hosted in the EU. We work with the Jam.py team on all of it, and what we learn running Jam.py goes back to the project.
